Do you have problems with achieving a sense of realistic depth and determining the correct angles for shapes in your drawings? Here’s your chance to clear up the confusion by learning how to use your educated guess based on the principles of mechanical geometry. We’ll be in the perfect setting at Tyee Winery!
Participants will learn to visually judge scale and positional relationships among objects in pictorial space by applying concepts gleaned from constructed perspective techniques as well as from direction observation. The workshop should be useful to both plein air and studio painters and graphic artists working in, what can loosely be called, the “realist traditionâ€. Both beginning and experienced artists should find the workshop worthwhile.
Dates: Mon., June 23, Tues., June 24, and Thur. June 26, 2008

Place: The Barn at Tyee Winery, 26335 Greenberry Rd.
