Creative Consensus

Carolyn Madsen says “We’re expecting synergy to happen Monday when we put our heads together to discuss the CAG Clothesline Sale and new possibilities for outreach.”

Our new co-presidents, Brandi and Carolyn, plan to implement an Artist’s Corner during our social half hour prior to the general meeting in the near future. Each meeting month an artist will explain a special technique and/or show a work in progress to those interested and discuss the work and answer questions. Those who are interested in participating in this should let them know.

This month, following the business agenda where Molly Perry will present an analysis of the 2007 sale and current feed-back from participants and after a short explanatory presentation, we will break into groups and do some serious evaluation and planning around three or four proposed activities for the year.

Please come and join with others in a small group of your choice to consider the possibilities for the Clothesline Sale of Art, a fund raising event, a just-for-fun December CAG social, mentoring youth in the fine arts or linking the visual arts with business/civic organizations/entities to encourage an appreciation for and involvement with art in our communities and area schools.
