Get your work juried Oct 11

CAG Members who want to exhibit in the following programs need to be juried as an Exhibiting Member.

  • Hanging Around Town
  • The Clothesline Sale
  • Fall Festival Art Booth

This opportunity comes only twice a year.

Bring 3 examples of original work to the First Congressional Church at 6:30 PM, Oct. 11 (2nd Monday, same day as meeting.)

All artists must first be an Associate Member residing in Linn or Benton County for at least three months before submitting work to be juried to become an Exhibiting Member.

All artists submitting art for consideration must drop off original works of art framed, labeled and ready for presentation between 6:00-6:30 pm on the day of the jury and pick it up between 9:00 and 9:30 pm the same evening. Corvallis Art Guild will not store juried work.

Please include:

  • Artist resume or bio
  • Artist statement
  • One copy of this completed application form (retain a separate copy for your records)
  • A stamped and self-addressed envelope

4 Saturdays beginning October 23

Loosen up your paintings with colorful and creative new approaches. Explore painting the landscape and still life with a freer and more personal use of colors and styles.  Find new ways to play with paint. Only water-base paint:  water base oil, acrylic, casein & gouache.


Dates & time:  Saturday, October 23,  1-4 pm

Location:  Benton County Museum Art Gallery at 1101 Main Street, Philomath

Cost:  $155          Limited to 10 students….Currently enrolled: 3   (updated on: Oct.5, 2010)

How to enroll:

Include class title and your email address and telephone number with mailed check endorsed to Donna Beverly, P O Box 854, Philomath, Or  97370.  Upon receipt of your payment, supply list will be emailed to you.  If you do not have an email address, be sure to include your mailing address and telephone number.
