Our April meeting will be at The Arts Center. This is because weÂ are limited to renting the library room four times in each six month period. We will be back at the library for our May meeting.
The Community Open will be hanging when we meet at The Arts Center so that will be a fun exhibit to gazeÂ uponÂ before and after our speaker. We will be upstairs.

Dorothea Franzosa will be showing 5 collages at the OSU Giustina Gallery exhibit “Fiber & Fabrics” from September 4-30. She will also be showing 12 paintings at Intabas Wildfire Restaurant through September and will have a painting at the Corvallis Library art exhibit during Corvallis Fall Festival the last weekend in September.
Pauline Stangel and Roberta Bier are exhibiting their artwork at Boccheriniâ€™s in Albany through September.
More Than One View- a Quilt County Exhibit featuring Eileen Kane, Lisa Kaser and Hilary Pfeifer at ArtCentric in September and the Youth Fall Poetry Festival reception on September 6 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
Joey Azul has had two art works accepted for the “All Around Oregon” exhibit at ArtCentric during October.
Hester Coucke, ArtCentric Curator, reports that the following members sold artwork this summer at the Corrine Gallery I and II : Peggy Sharrowâ€™s “Summer Garden”; Carolee Clarkâ€™s “A Head for Figures”; and Chinh Leâ€™s “Fish Tales Nehalem Bay”, “Fish Tales da Nang” and “Summer on the Willamette.” Congratulations to you all.
The Corvallis Art Center / Linn Benton Council for the Arts (ArtCentric) calls for slides, photos or artwork submission for jurying once a year. Each local guild can participate in this program.
