Through my nonrepresentational art, I visually express my internal world and my emotional response to the external world. Working intuitively, I enter a realm of the unknown where there is more of a following than any real choice. I apply and remove paint and other media, destroy and reconstruct, scrape and layer. And with each revival, there are the markings of the previous to save or again hide. I use this messy working process until that ever-elusive balance I’ve been seeking emerges.
