Project Description

John Friedlander

I make multimedia art to think about, not just look at.
I like to hide ideas, and challenge viewers to find meanings for themselves.
As I create, new layers of meaning reveal themselves, which changes the results I’m after, which keeps things… interesting.

Floating in front of a black background, a flag of distressed light-colored corrugated aluminum features a single large gold-markered star in the upper left corner, and thirteen stripes of light and shadow.
